Temperatures are set to rise in Leeds on Thursday as the Met Office issues an amber weather warning. Heat levels are expected to rise as high as 31C across the city starting around 18C in the morning before they peak in the afternoon between 3pm and 7pm.
The forecast for Leeds is completely dry and sunny all day, with temperatures dropping to a modest 27C into the evening.
The Met Office Forecast for Yorkshire says: "Another dry and clear day with increasingly hot temperatures. Coastal areas seeing somewhat cooler conditions with a fresher breeze and perhaps some low cloud developing through the evening. Maximum temperature 32 °C."

Leeds will continue to see high pressure bringing dry and settled weather into the weekend. The weather warning is in place until Sunday with temperatures expected to cool down and rain predicted from Monday next week.
From Friday until Sunday the forecast says: "High pressure continues to bring dry settled weather through the weekend, with very warm temperatures. Overnight may see coastal low cloud spreading inland, burning back quickly by day."
