Met Office weather forecast for Leeds on Saturday as sunny spells and no rain expected

People in Leeds have woken up to a bright and sunny day this morning (Saturday) but things will change throughout the day.

According to the Met Office, there will be highs of 18C in the city but it will be largely dry across Yorkshire.

However, in Leeds, it will be cloudy from 9am until 1pm where it will change to overcast briefly.

From 2pm onwards, it will be cloudy once again but no sun is predicted to come out again afterwards.

A statement on the Met Office says: “A chilly but bright start Saturday, turning cloudier by the afternoon. Largely dry, with just a slight risk of isolated coastal showers during the afternoon. Feeling cool on coasts. Maximum temperature 18 °C.”

The sun will rise at 4.47am and it will set at 9.21pm.
