Temperatures will begin to reduce in Leeds from Monday following the weekend heatwave. The levels over the weekend will begin to drop off, reducing to highs of 26C across the city.
The Met Office has predicted a mostly cloudy start to the day with some sunny spells around 8am before patches of cloud begin to take over. Throughout the day the temperatures will rise from 19C to 22C in the mid-morning and then to 26C in the afternoon.
Light rain is forecast between 7pm and 9pm with a 50 percent chance of precipitation.

The Met Office forecast for Leeds and Yorkshire says: "Cloudier with the risk of intense thundery showers, perhaps merging into persistent rain in places. Sunny spells still likely. Northwestern parts cooler, but some southeastern parts remaining hot and humid. Maximum temperature 30 °C."
Into Tuesday, temperatures will continue to drop bringing cloudy breezes and potentially heavy, thundery showers and longer spells of rain. This will ease as the week goes on but temperatures will remain cooler overall.
