Met Office weather forecast for Leeds as heatwave looms

It's forecast to be a sunny day throughout Leeds.

For most of Yorkshire, The Met Office said: "Initial low cloud slowly retreats back to the coast during the day on Friday, allowing for long sunny periods to develop inland. Maximum temperature 18C."

In Leeds, we can expect overcast and cloudy skies from 6am until 10am. Followed by sunny intervals until noon.

Then sunny skies until 10pm. Clear night skies. Temperatures peaking at 19C and dipping to 10C.
