Met Office weather forecast for Leeds as city expected to see a clear day

The Met Office are predicting a clear and dry day across Leeds on Monday. Temperatures will start off cold in the early morning, before rising to around 13C and 14C in the afternoon.

Across Yorkshire, most parts will see clear skies with maximum temperatures reaching 15C in some areas. The Met Office say the week will continue to get chilly but the skies are expected to remain mostly clear.

Winds may bring some showers over as the week continues but areas such as Leeds are not forecast to see rain this week.

The Met Office forecast says: "A mostly dry and breezy day with sunny spells. Perhaps an isolated shower over western hills, mainly in the morning. Cooler than Sunday. Maximum temperature 14 °C."

As we head into the rest of the week, the Met Office say the outlook for Tuesday to Thursday will be: "Staying mostly dry Tuesday with sunny spells. Light winds. Rain spreading southeastwards on Wednesday. Mostly cloudy Thursday with outbreaks of rain at times. Chilly starts Tuesday and Wednesday."

The days will be cloudier as we get further into October, however for Monday it will be dry, bright and clear for the most part.
