Met Office predicts week of sun and highs of 21C for Nottingham

Highs of 21C and sunshine have been forecast for Nottinghamshire over the next week. From Monday, May 22 to Sunday, May 28, those in the county can expect things to feel a little bit more like summer, with warmer weather sunny spells firmly on the agenda.

But sun lovers will need to make use of suncream over the next seven days. With UV rays predicted to be strong, it's certainly worth being sensible when out and about in Nottingham.

This bank holiday weekend, Saturday, May 27 to Monday, May 29, is set be full of sun, with highs of 21C on Saturday and 20C on Sunday, with minimal cloud.

Tuesday is set to be a little cooler with highs of 18C. The day will be mostly cloudy, but we may get some sunny intervals towards the evening, and temperatures will peak around 4pm.

Wednesday looks to be a clear and bright day, with minimal cloud and highs of 20C. Temperatures will peak at 4pm, but will drop to 9C through the night.
