The cold weather is set to continue around the North East this weekend - with clouds clogging up the skyline above the Tyne.
But while sunny skies will be put on hold come Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather experts at the Met Office estimate that it'll be dry for the most part. Tomorrow's temperatures will bounce between 5C and -1C, with thick white skies from start to finish, minus overcast conditions rolling in for an hour at noon.
A yellow weather warning for ice remains in place across Newcastle and the surrounding areas, but this is set to expire by 10am.

"Maximum temperature 4 °C.
