The Met Office has predicted the date that warmer weather will return to Nottingham following a period of cooler temperatures and rain. This comes after the UK experienced its hottest June since records began.
Those hoping for more sun in July may have been disappointed so far, but according to the Met Office, warmer temperatures are set to return over the weekend.
The national weather service said temperatures will pick up on Friday, July 7, with highs of 25C. Warmer weather will continue into Saturday and Sunday, but some rain is expected.

While Saturday will also bring highs of 25C, the Met Office has predicted light showers during the day, with skies changing to cloudy by nighttime. Sunday is forecast as dry, but slightly cooler, with highs of 22C.
