The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for parts of the country today, including Liverpool.
Forecasters say there will be a spell of heavy rain and strong, gusty winds, meaning that there may be some transport disruption and flooding. The yellow rain and wind warning is in place for Thursday, November 24, and covers most of the south west and parts of Scotland.
According to the Met Office we should expect spray and flooding on roads, some transport delays and flooding of homes and businesses may be possible.

Into Friday, there will be more showers in the morning but it will become mostly dry by the afternoon. Winds will also be much lighter than Thursday and easing further through the day, feeling pleasant in the sunshine. Temperatures will hit a maximum of 10C.
Heavy rain and strong winds will return on Saturday and Sunday morning. According to forecasters, it will be more settled on Monday with isolated showers, but feeling fairly chilly.
The BBC outlook for Saturday to Monday, reads: "Saturday will see cloud build in and spells of rain push in from the west. A windy day. Outbreaks of heavy rain will move in through the evening and overnight, but Sunday will then become a drier day with a mix of sunshine and sharp showers.
"Monday will see a mix of variable cloud, sunny spells and a few spots of rain lingering in places. It will be another rather breezy day."
