The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Liverpool.
The region has enjoyed unusual warm conditions for the majority of November. However, the weather has recently taken a turn as heavy rain has hit Merseyside today.
The downpour is set to continue tomorrow as the Met Office has issued a weather warning for rain and wind across some parts of the North West. The yellow alert extends to areas of Merseyside and is in force from 10am - 7pm on Thursday, November 24.

The weather forecasters expect: "A brief spell of heavy rain and strong, gusty winds perhaps causing some transport disruption and flooding."
The Met Office warns journey times may be longer due to spray and flooding on roads. It adds: "Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely.
"Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely. Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible."
The full Met Office forecast for tomorrow reads: "A squally band of rain moves eastward through the morning, with sunshine and heavy showers following. Strong winds throughout with severe coastal gales in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 11 °C."
