THE Met Office has issued a new yellow warning for snow and ice across large parts of Scotland.
The yellow warning will take effect once the red warning for Storm Eowyn ends, covering areas from the south of Dumfries and Galloway to the south of Wick, including Aberdeen.
It will be in place from midnight tonight, Saturday, January 25 and last until 11 am on the same day.

The Met Office has announced that “icy stretches and some snow showers will result in some hazardous driving conditions".
Some roads and railways are likely to be affected, causing longer journey times by road, bus, and train. Icy patches may form on untreated roads, pavements, and cycle paths, with a risk of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
