Experts are forecasting another "very mild week" in the UK with temperatures above normal for the time of the year. But there is some snow in the forecast for next month.
The Met Office long-range forecast some snow is "expected to fall in any showers in northern and western areas" around the second week in November. It is likely only to fall on higher areas but means that the peaks of Snowdonia may well be white before we get to December.
However, before then, it is set to remain mild. Met Office figures have revealed the Milford Haven and Aberporth recorded some of the mildest overnight temperatures in the UK in the early hours of Sunday (October 23). Milford Haven was 14.9°C, while Aberporth was 13.5°C, with the warmest overnight place in the UK being Swanage at 16.9°C.

Long range forecasts are showing that temperatures are set to remain mild across the whole of the UK this week, with highs of 20°C, which BBC forecaster Matt Taylor saying that it would be degrees warmer than normal for the time of year.
The BBC Weather forecast for this week says that winds generally continuing to blow from a southeast to south-westerly direction, meaning it will stay mild for the time of year.
The forecast says: "Daytime temperatures will reach the mid-to-high teens in the southern half of the UK, possibly reaching 20 Celsius at times, with the northern half seeing the low to mid-teens."
The Met Office forecast for Wales this week runs up to Thursday. It says: "Mist and fog on Monday will gradually clear through the morning. It will then be a day of bright or sunny spells and a few showers, these most likely in coastal areas. Maximum temperature 17 °C."
The outlook for Tuesday to Thursday says: "Remaining unsettled with warm days and mild nights. Sunshine and showers on Tuesday, wet and windy on Wednesday with further showery rain and brisk winds on Thursday."
There are no cold spells in the long range forecast either.
The Met Office forecast for Thursday, October 27, to Saturday, November 5, says that it will be changeable and often unsettled but adds: "Temperatures likely to continue to be mild overnight and warm during the day, trending above normal for this time of year."
