Met Office issues another yellow weather warning for heavy rain and high winds in Wales

More wet and windy weather is on the way for Wales as the Met Office has issued another warning. The forecasting service has issued a yellow warning for parts of the country on Wednesday, November 23.

It comes after torrential rain and high winds battered the country on Monday, leaving some areas flooded. The warning for Wednesday, which is in place from 3am to 8am, said: "Another spell of wet, windy weather will arrive across southern parts of Wales and southwestern parts of England in the early hours of Wednesday.

"For many this will be fairly normal (if unpleasant) autumn conditions but for a few there could be a short interlude with torrential rain and very gusty winds." You can get more weather news and other story updates straight to your inbox by subscribing to our newsletters here.
