After a sunny Easter weekend the weather is expected to change again as the Met office predict heavy showers with possible hail and thunder later this week. It is predicted there will be heavy rain in Nottingham on Tuesday, April 12 from 4pm until 11pm and then more rain from 1pm until 5pm on Wednesday, April 13, with some further light rain around 10pm.
Regarding Wednesday, the Met office states in its East Midlands forecast: "Remaining unsettled through Wednesday with strong winds continuing. Frequent rain and heavy showers throughout the day with possible hail and thunder, wintry over high ground.
"Feeling cooler than previous days." Thursday, April 14, will remain cloudy throughout the day with some sunny intervals, whereas on Friday, April 15, it will rain from 1pm until around 10pm.

The upcoming weekend currently has no rain predicted and is expected to remain cloudy, but will be reaching highs of 16C on Saturday and 17C on Sunday. Below is the forecast from the Met Office for Nottingham this week.
