A miserable week is in store as Met Eireann has issued a grim forecast for Dublin.
Today will be cloudy with a few showers and the highest temperatures of 7 or 8 degrees. Tonight will be mainly dry but a spell of wet and windy weather will cross the region overnight.
The rain could turn thundery and heavy and strong gusty southeast winds will develop. The lowest temperatures will be around 3 or 4 degrees.
