Met Eireann has issued a new snow and ice warning for all of Ireland as Storm Eunice brings freezing conditions.
The country was battered overnight with high winds of 130km in places, while heavy rain and floods drenched the south.
A weather expert has even warned that we "shouldn't be fooled" by calmer conditions on Friday morning, with five alerts for bad conditions in place throughout the day.
One recent Met Eireann alert is a caution for snow and ice, which has been put in place from 5am on Friday until 10am on Saturday.
It reads: "Falls of sleet and snow on Friday and Saturday with accumulations in some areas and icy stretches leading to hazardous driving conditions."
Meanwhile, thousands in the south of the country have been left without power after stormy conditions overnight.
According to ESB Networks, there are 2,166 customers that have been hit by power cuts near Cahersiveen in Co Kerry, and 1,193 people affected in Glengarriff, Co Cork.
Crews are working to restore power in the affected areas, but it is likely there will be further outages as this storm ramps up.
More than 500 people in Birr, Co Offaly, are also without power, but the issue is due to be resolved by midday.
Nearly 200 people in Achill will be waking to no electricity this morning, however, Power Check has estimated an 8.45am return.
Power outages have also been reported in Waterford, Donegal, Wexford, and Roscommon.
