A number of counties remain in the snow danger zone after Met Eireann updated its forecast for this week.
A fresh Status Yellow snow and ice warning has been issued for Cork and Kerry and is valid from midnight until noon tomorrow. On Thursday, a snow and ice warning is in place from 6am Thursday until midnight on Friday for Connacht, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Longford, Louth, Meath, and Westmeath.
A new low temperature/ice warning is in place for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Connacht, Longford, Louth, Meath, and Westmeath, from 9pm tonight until tomorrow morning.

Temperatures are expected to plummet as low -6 degrees in parts of Ulster tonight as the Arctic blast continues to freeze Ireland. In Dublin, there will be lowest temperatures -1 or -2 degrees tonight.
Tomorrow there will be "another cold and frosty start tomorrow" in Dublin. It will stay dry with hazy sunny spells at first, turning cloudier in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of just 3 to 5 degrees in light to moderate easterly winds.
