Met Eireann has pinpointed one area of the country that could get some cloud and drizzle over the weekend as much of the rest of the country bakes in glorious sunshine.
With the national forecaster predicting sunny spells and top temperatures of 25 degrees over the weekend, many of us would have been planning BBQs and garden parties but people in the northwest may still need an umbrella.
In an update on the weekend weather on Friday afternoon, Met Éireann said "there'll be a fair amount of cloud at times, especially in the NW with some drizzle."

They added: "Looking forward to the weekend? It’ll be largely dry with light winds & temps increasing through the weekend, widely getting up to the mid 20s. There’ll be a fair amount of cloud at times, especially in the NW with some drizzle. Sunday will have the best of the sunshine."
In its more detailed forecast for the country over the coming days, Met Éireann said: "Saturday morning will be mostly cloudy with patchy drizzle and mist in the northwest. Brightening up for the afternoon and evening, with spells of warm sunshine developing. Highest temperatures of 16 to 23 degrees, coolest in Ulster and warmest in the midlands with light north to northwest breezes.
They predict "high pressure will dominate bringing mostly warm and dry weather with a mix of cloud and sunny spells."
On Saturday night, they say it will remain "largely dry and mild with clear spells and perhaps a little mist or drizzle in places. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees with light, variable breezes."
"Sunday will be warm and largely dry with good sunny spells developing after some early morning mist or drizzle. Highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees, warmest in the midlands, with light variable breezes. Sunday night will be dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees," they added in a positive outlook.
Monday may be warmer again with the mercury possibly tipping 27 degrees in some parts. The Midlands, south and east of the country are likely to bask in the warmest weather while that cloud and drizzle risk remains in the northwest.
Tuesday may bring a bump in the road for more counties as Met Éireann predict "a cloudier day with rain and drizzle developing in the west and north and spreading southeastwards, becoming very light and patchy as it does so.
" It won't be quite as warm with highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, warmest in Leinster and light south to southwest breezes."
However, it appears as though dry weather will rally on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week with "bright and sunny spells" and temperatures reaching the high teens or low 20s.
