Three counties in the north and west of Ireland will be battered by rain on Monday evening, as Met Éireann have issued a status yellow weather warning.
Galway, Mayo and Donegal are subject to the warning, which the expected onset beginning at 10pm and lasts until 5am on Tuesday morning.
It comes as the Met Office in the UK have warned that the six counties of Northern Ireland will face strong winds on Wednesday.

The warning for Galway, Mayo and Donegal reads: "Heavy rainfall tonight (Monday night), and for a time on Tuesday morning may cause localised flooding."
On Tuesday morning, the persistent rain will clear to the southeast. However, there'll still be a fair amount of cloud and lingering drizzle in places.
During the afternoon, persistent rain will move in from the southwest and spread northeastwards.
Highest temperatures of 15 to 17C with moderate southwest breezes.
Rain will continue to extend northwards over the country overnight. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11C in mainly light to moderate southwest winds, fresher at times in the northwest.
After a wet start to Wednesday with widespread rain, a clearance to sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy or thundery, will move in from the west.
Turning breezy as well with fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds developing—highest temperatures of 12 to 15C.
Windy overnight with widespread showers, possibly turning thundery. Westerly winds will be strong and gusty with onshore gales in the northwest—lowest temperatures of 8 to 11C.
