We are in for some glorious weather this weekend, with Met Eireann forecasting temperatures up to as high as 20C.
And Ireland is set to be as hot as the south of France at the weekend, with similar temperatures in Cannes on Saturday.
However, while the sun is set to continue into next week the national forecaster has ruled out classing the good weather as a 'heatwave'.

Conall Ruth, a meteorologist with Met Eireann, told the Irish Mirror: "This isn't considered a heatwave.
"A heatwave is five consecutive days of temperatures over 25C, countrywide."
In the meantime, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring highs of 19C, with hazy sunshine and sunny spells.
On Friday and Saturday, a high-pressure system will propel the mercury to temperatures in the 20s.
While the outlook is positive for the weekend, the national forecaster has given an update on weather conditions for Sunday.
Met Eireann wrote: "Current indications suggest the possibility of a little light rain on Sunday with temperatures dropping a little as a result."
But the warm weather is set to pick up again coming into next week.
The national forecaster said: "High pressure looks set to build again for next week."
