Exceptional heat is set to blast Ireland this weekend as temperatures rise as high as 33C in some parts by Monday.
A status yellow warning has been issued for the entire country by Met Eireann from Sunday ahead of the freak weather event.
While most counties will see the mercury soar into the mid-20s, seven spots on the Met Eireann forecast are currently set for 27C conditions on Sunday.

Met Eireann's 48-hour forecast
The forecaster said: "On Saturday morning, any mist or fog patches will clear to leave a warm and mostly dry day with sunny spells. A few isolated showers are possible in the north and northwest. Highest temperatures of 21 to 26 degrees, warmest in central parts, with light variable or southerly breezes.
"Very warm and dry with widespread hazy sunshine. Highest temperatures of 22 to 28 degrees, warmest in central parts and the east. South to southeast breezes will be light to moderate."
