Sunday’s weather is set to be dramatically different from the previous day with torrential rain overnight giving way to sunny spells.
Enjoy it while you can though as it is not expected to last long.
Met Eireann says more heavy rain is expected to push in this evening followed by a mostly wet week.

It comes as a Status Orange weather warning for rain expired at 8am, with a nationwide Advisory remaining in place until 7pm Monday for “wet and windy weather that may cause disruption”.
Giving the weather for today, the national forecaster said: “Brightening up this morning after heavy rain clears to the north and northwest. Southeast winds will be mainly moderate to fresh, further strengthening again by afternoon. The afternoon and early evening will bring sunny spells and just isolated showers.
“Later on a further band of heavy rain will push in from the southwest. Highest temperatures of 16C to 19C.
“Outbreaks of rain in the south will sweep northwards across the country overnight. Clearer weather will follow later in the night, along with isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 11C to 14C with moderate to fresh southeast winds, strong at times near coasts.”
Looking ahead to next week, it continued: “Sunny spells and isolated showers to star on Mondayt, though showery rain will spread from the southwest during the day, with heavy falls at times. Highest temperatures of 17C to 21C. Blustery with fresh southeast winds, remaining strong near some coast.
“Showers with longer spells of rain, possibly heavy in parts, along with good clear spells also. Lowest temperatures of 11C to 14C in moderate to fresh southeast winds.
“A mix of sunny spells and scattered showers on Tuesday. Once again, some of the showers may turn heavy, merging to longer spells of rain later in the day. Highest temperatures of 16C to 18C in moderate to fresh southeasterly winds.
“Showers will continue into Tuesday night, interspersed with clear spells. Overnight lows of 12C to 14C.
“Further spells of showery rain on Wednesday, with heavy falls possible at times, along with sunny spells in between.
“It will remain unsettled with further heavy showers for the rest of the working week with low pressure continuing to dominate.”
