Met Eireann has forecast that high pressure is set to have a 'significant' impact on Irish weather very soon.
The national forecaster has predicted there will be one more stunning week of weather next week.
Ireland will experience sunshine and dry weather as the end of summer approaches, just before schools return in September.
The last few days of August and the first days in September look set to bring above average temperatures as high pressure builds.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "High pressure looks set to be a significant influence on Ireland’s weather as we move towards early September.

"It looks set to become quite settled with below average rainfall forecast nationwide, driest across the west and north of the country. Mean air temperatures are forecast to be slightly above normal."
However, before then we can expect some rain and showers as the next week sees some "changeable" conditions.
On Tuesday, the day will have a cloudy start but there will be some good sunny spells as the day goes on. Most areas will have a "dry afternoon" though there will be some scattered showers.
Rain could move in from the south and spread northwards as the evening progresses, Met Éireann predict, but things will remain warm with temperatures hitting highs of 17 to 22C.
Wednesday could be the best day this week for weather, with "good sunshine" and "largely dry conditions" across the country however, there will be "some passing showers" mainly in the north and west. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees and warmest in the southeast.
Largely dry to start on Thursday with "sunny spells and well scattered showers", but things will go dull in the evening, with "a spell of rain moving into the west and northwest in the afternoon or evening, the timing is still uncertain. Highs of 16 to 21 degrees"
Friday looks to finish off the week strongly, with current models from Met Eireann looking like it'll be "dry weather overall with just well scattered showers. A mix of cloud and occasional sunshine. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees"
