Temperatures in Dublin will reach 13 degrees today but conditions will be wet and windy.

Tonight will be breezy in Dublin with fresh and gusty southwest winds but largely dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees are forecast.

Tomorrow will be another windy day with sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy with the possibility of hail. Southwest winds will be fresh to strong and gusty. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.

While there is further forecast for Dublin, here is Met Eireann's national outlook:

Wednesday

"Sunny spells at first with showers, mainly in the northwest, clearing northwards gradually. Outbreaks of rain will develop in the southwest in the morning, extending gradually over much of the country through the day. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees. Fresh and gusty southwesterly winds will ease through the morning.

Thursday

"Outbreaks of rain will clear eastwards through the morning, becoming largely dry with a few outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in mostly light breezes.

"Continuing mostly dry overnight but more persistent rain will develop in the southwest towards morning. Some mist and fog will also develop. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees.

Friday

"Cloudy with rain in the southwest at first, will extend northeastwards across the country with some heavy falls possible. A clearance to sunny spells and showers will then follow from the southwest. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees, coolest in the north."
