Drameh welcomed back
Cody Drameh returned to Elland Road for the first time since his loan move to Cardiff City in January on Saturday. The right-back left under something of a cloud following Marcelo Bielsa’s comments about the youngster forcing his way out for first-team football.
However, Drameh would go on to pull up trees in Wales. The right-back would clean up at the end-of-season awards ceremony with less than half a campaign under his belt.
He’s returned this summer and resolved to fight for a place in the Leeds team and as he went out to warm-up with Rasmus Kristensen stricken, he was warmly welcomed back into Leeds arms by the north-west corner.

Marsch’s words with Struijk
Leeds came out for the second half in what felt like something of a slumber. Wolves had more possession, asked more questions and Leeds made more errors with the ball.
In one instance, Leeds tried passing out from the back and instead gave the ball straight to the Wolves attack. When the ball went dead, Jesse Marsch was soon onto Pascal Struijk with a reminder the ball needs to come down the left channel and not through the centre.
Aaronson gets the crowd going
In the 69th minute, as Leeds were slowly but surely coming back into the game after a dodgy restart, Brenden Aaronson, still new to Elland Road, seized on the crowd’s energy. As they won a simple corner in front of the John Charles Stand, the American pumped his arms to show the fans their volume was working for them on the field.
Meslier takes on the Phillips mantle
Kalvin Phillips left behind a great many things when he crossed the Pennines to joining Manchester City. He was the local boy, the talisman and a fine footballer, but he was also the chief showman with the fans after a win.
Phillips would be the last man around the pitch after full-time to thank the fans for their support before stopping in front of the Norman Hunter Stand. The crowd were edge their noise up as Phillips goaded them on before giving them several arm pumps as a finale.
Illan Meslier is that guy. The goalkeeper was the last man around the field and, flanked by Marsch, fulfilled the same role with the supporters in the South Stand.
