Weekends are made for indulging in gorgeous treats and there’s a food market not far away that people in Merseyside need to visit.
Home to a number of food vendors, the market sells everything from burgers and fries to sushi, tapas and ice cream. The market has gained a huge following, attracting visitors from across the north west.
The venue is Woodside Ferry Market, which is around a 20 minute drive from Liverpool city centre on a good run. The market opened its doors in May 2021 and also hosts outdoor markets frequently.

The market features a village of 24 wooden chalets that offer stunning views over to Liverpool and each week they’re taken over by local vendors to showcase the products that they bake, make and create.
Its arrival has made the Woodside area in Birkenhead a destination and place where residents and visitors can enjoy a choice of foods, be able to relax and take in the view from the waterfront via the terrace over the River Mersey towards the Liverpool skyline.
Inside, there’s also a food market, Pausha wine bar and Murphy’s Gin bar available to visit. Woodside Ferry Village offers a range of foods provided by various concession vendors, which include Caffe Creme, Haku, Ena Pa, Scooby’s and more. The full list of vendors is here.
Woodside Ferry Village is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Kitchen and bar times differ, you can find them here.
