Merseyside Police recruiting for a range of roles paying up to £50k

Merseyside Police is currently recruiting for a variety of vacancies in their various departments, with some of the jobs paying up to £50,000 per year.

15 positions are currently available at Merseyside Police, headquartered on Grosvenor Street, Liverpool. The available jobs range from a firearms examiner working in their forensic services department, to a sex offender manager working in their sex offender unit, with many other jobs going.

They are also looking for a new head of quality standards whose job it will be to "maximise the effectiveness" of their forensic evidence, and a project support officer to work with Project Adder (Addiction, Diversion, Disruption, Enforcement, Recovery), a Home Office initiative to tackle drug use and dependency.

Here are five of the most attractive roles available, out of the 15 in total:

  • Firearms examiner - £27,432 to £32,394. Permanent, full time.
  • Head of quality standards - £45,873 to £51,306. Permanent, full time.
  • Case development officer - £24,069 to £26,565. Permanent, full time.
  • Sergeant police decision maker - £27,432 to £32,394. Permanent, full time.
  • Business support officer - £21,135 to £23,406. Fixed term contract, full time.
