Merseyrail sent a cleaning team onto one of its services after a traveller made a vile discovery onboard.
A traveller on the 3pm train from Ormskirk to Liverpool Central on Friday, May 13, took to Twitter after spotting something odd on the floor. After taking a closer look they saw several toenail clippings in front of a seat on the train.
In a tweet, the traveller said: "Is it OK to do a pedicure on a train journey?". The social media post led to Merseyrail sending a cleaner onto the train.
