Squirreled away in the Merchant City is a wee bar that's the ideal place to head to for a cocktail (or two) in the sunshine.
Gin 71, who are better known for their bar on Renfield Street, have just announced that their Merchant City venue is now back open seven nights a week.
And, the bar has an outdoor terrace that is ideal for the warmer weather. Taking to Facebook, the team posted: "Our Merchant City branch of Gin71 is back open 7 nights a week! Calling sunshine lovers for this is a bit of a sun trap! There is an outdoor terrace as well as indoor seating."

Hidden away from the bustling shopping streets, the bar is found in Virginia Court, located between Virginia Street and Miller Street, and is ideal for a little bit of tranquillity while you're sipping your expertly made gin cocktails such as the Ginstar Martini, the Mai Tai or Negroni Spritz.
Best of all you can even make your own Old Fashioneds and Martinis using your own favourite gins – and did we mention the epic sharing teapots?
And don't worry if you're hungry too they even do a fantastic dining menu.
