The driver of a Mercedes who died after crashing his car on the M62 was named locally.
Merseyside Police rushed to the M62 at junction six ( Huyton ), at around 7.50pm on Sunday, July 17. following reports of a crash. Once at the scene officers found a black Mercedes had crashed.
Paramedics, including an air ambulance, attended but the driver was dead at the scene. His next of kin were informed and are being supported by specialist Family Liaison Officers, at Merseyside Police.

The driver of the car was today named locally as Shane Seiga. Those close to him have taken to social media and paid tribute, with one man saying "God only takes the best".
A close friend said: "Gutted and thinking of the Seiga family on the sad loss of Shane. God only takes the best, proper gutted."
Another said: "Godbless ya Shane mate rest easy in heavenly paradise thoughts and prayers for all of your friends and family xx"
Sergeant Steve Smith, from Merseyside Police Serious Collison Investigation Unit, said: "An investigation is ongoing after a man sadly died following a collision on the M62 last night, and our thoughts and condolences are very much with the family. The next of kin of the driver has been informed and is being supported by specialist Family Liaison Officers.
"We would ask any drivers in the area who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage of the incident, to come forward. Any footage, or information, could be vital in establishing what happened. Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured anything on CCTV or dashcam is asked to contact SCIU on (0151) 777 5747, or email SCIU@merseyside.police.uk with Log 887 of Sunday 17 July."
