The MEN Business Awards were sponsored by headline companies Brewin Dolphin, Robert Walters, PwC, CMS and LDC; with category sponsors Bolton School.
The MEN Business Awards are the biggest, the best and longest standing awards of their kind in the region with a history of recognising and rewarding successful companies across all sectors.
They began in 1992 and have gone from strength to strength, attracting the very best in business each year.
The event celebrates excellence in firms of all sizes and sectors, from long-established multi-nationals to start-ups.
Speaking at the event, Darren Thwaites, editor-in-chief of the Manchester Evening News, said: "The Manchester Evening News has been a champion of commerce and enterprise for more than 150 years - but rarely have businesses faced such a difficult period.
"It’s why this year’s celebration is extra-special as we reward your resilience and your creativity in battling the challenges of pandemic and economic uncertainty.
"Despite the very many difficulties, we’ve had the pleasure - along with our colleagues at BusinessLive - to report on many success stories. New plans, new jobs and new investments that can give us all confidence.
"The MEN has also played a leading role in holding the government to account on giving the North a level playing field after decades of unfair spending formulas."
