Avon and Somerset Police is monitoring CCTV footage following reports that a man assaulted a member of staff at a Portishead McDonald’s.
Police received a report at about 2.20pm this afternoon (Thursday, September 29).
It has been confirmed that no physical injuries were reported, with the man leaving the scene after the incident.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We received a report at about 2.20pm this afternoon (Thursday, September 29) that a man had assaulted a member of staff at McDonald's in Portishead before leaving the scene.
“No physical injuries were reported.
"Officers attended and CCTV enquiries are being conducted.”
Witnesses are asked to call 101 and give the reference number 5222234760.
McDonald's has been approached for comment.
