Melbourne Victory vs Manchester United - LIVE!
Erik Ten Hag saw his Manchester United side score four goals for the second game in a row as they came from behind to beat Melbourne Victory on Friday.
As was so often the case last season, United were cut apart far too easily in the opening exchanges, with both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof left stranded as Chris Ikonomidis raced through to give the home side a lead in the fourth minute. From there, Ten Hang’s side looked rigid in possession but the goals would soon come.
Scott McTominay got them back on level terms before Anthony Martial turned the game on its head just before the break after good work from Jadon Sancho and Diogo Dalot, the two standout players in the first-half. After the interval, United played with much more urgency and Marcus Rashford latched onto a brilliant ball from Eric Bailly to score before Tahith Chong forced a late own goal to seal a big win.
