Melanie Sykes has reportedly split from her toyboy gondolier boyfriend Riccardo Simionato.
The presenter, 52, met the Italian hunk, 25, while she was on holiday in Venice back in 2020, with the pair embarking on a whirlwind holiday romance.
Their relationship continued when Mel got back home to the UK, but the pair are now said to have parted ways with the long distance causing a strain in their relationship.
A source told The Sun : "Riccardo is based in Venice, while Mel is in the UK.
"It was really fun and romantic at first travelling back and forth but it wasn't very sustainable in the long run.
"The pair have nothing but kind things to say about each other and Venice will forever hold a very special place in Mel's heart."
Mirror Online has contacted Melanie's representatives for comment.
Riccardo previously discussed his romance with Melanie to Mail on Sunday.
Addressing the 27-year age gap between the two, Riccardo explained: "Beauty is relative. Maybe what in your eyes is beautiful, isn't to me.
"Every person is different, nationality doesn't matter. True, no?"
She was previously in Venice with Riccardo in November last year.
"After a c**p year, Mel's hopeful this is her happy ending - she's in love with Ricky," her friends told new! magazine at the time.

"She hasn't found lasting love before and she really wants that. She's been wanting to find the perfect man and she thinks it could be him."
The presenter has been unlucky in love with two failed marriages.
Melanie was married to Daniel Caltagirone from 2001 until 2009 - with the two sharing children Roman, 18, and Valentino, 16, together.
Later, she walked down the aisle with Jack Cockings in 2013 but it didn't work out and ended in 2016.
A couple of years ago, Melanie revealed that men her age "tend to shut down in some way".
She said: "One of the reasons I think I end up with [younger men] is because they don't seem to have a problem approaching me. They have a bit more about them and they're more confident and I need someone with confidence."
