Singer Melanie C is set to spice up Friday night’s TV as she will join Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show this week.
The Spice girls singer turned solo star is the first celebrity guest to be announced for Friday night’s show.
An RTE spokesperson for The Late Late Show said: “Melanie C is set to spice up Friday night as she is set to join host Ryan Tubridy live in studio on this week’s Late Late Show.”

Her appearance comes as the The Wannabe hitmaker has just released her autobiography, Who I Am.
More guests will be announced in the coming days, ahead of the live show.
Meanwhile, host Tubridy said the plotting and planning for this year’s Late Late Toy Show is already in full swing.
Speaking on his RTE One radio show this morning, where he said he was having a complete ‘melt’ as he forgot what date it was at the beginning of the show, he said: “I completely forgot… and I’ll tell you why, it is the Toy Show’s fault.”
The presenter said his brief brain fog moment came as he has been having meetings about his busy schedule of rehearsals and planning for the annual Christmas special, which has been confirmed for November 25.
“I had a meeting yesterday and they said ‘your life from pretty much the middle of October until the Toy Show credits is.. We own you. Every bit of you.”
He went on to joke: “And you will have no friends, no family, just toys and strangers and peculiar children and christmas. So my head is in a melt,” he said laughing.
The Late Late Show airs Fridays on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player at 9:35pm.
