Melania Trump has been spotted for the first time in 10 days at an Easter brunch with husband Donald just days after he was charged for allegedly paying hush-money to porn star Stormy Daniels.
The pair were photographed at their Mar-a-Lago residency in Florida, US, on Sunday as the husband and wife sat alone from diners.
The couple walked into Mar-a-Lago's ornate ballroom where they were met with a rapturous reception, according to residents inside the room.
Red velvet ropes were blocking off their huge dinning table from the rest of holidaymakers.
Melania was seen chatting intently to the former president during the Easter brunch, which is a tradition for the pair.
Social media users posted videos and pictures of the couple in the ballroom together eating brunch.
According to members inside the ballroom on Sunday the former president was busy taking selfies - with many of them being uploaded to social media.
Mar-a-Lago regularly invites its members on a huge Easter Egg hunt and buffet which includes oysters, prawns, and champagne.
In addition, there are Easter Bunny and children's characters on the clubs ground for the children.
It is the first time Melania has been seen publicly with Donald Trump since his indictment charges on Tuesday, which allege he falsified business records to allegedly pay off porn Stormy Daniels and a former doorman.
Melania was noticeably absent from her husband's speech on Tuesday at their home in Florida as she chose to stay away from the limelight.
She chose not to attend Trump's indictment charges hearing in New York as he pleaded not guilty to 34 felony charges.
Members of Trump's family and lawyers took her place instead and hadn't been seen since the charges.
The former first lady had broken her silence on Sunday by tweeting "Happy Easter" to her followers, which was the first time she has spoken publicly in ten days.
When Trump made his speech after the indictment charges hearing back in Florida, he made no reference to his wife.
He paid tribute to his children, advisors, lawyers but there was no mention for Melania as Trump's father-in-law was seen attending the speech in the front row.
Melania's dad Viktor Knavs was spotted next to Trump's children as he listened intently to his rambling speech which criticised his 34 charges.
Her disappearance was in stark contrast to the publicly display of unity they showed on the night Trump was indicted.
However, Melania's disappearance from Trump's side led to speculation she was unhappy with him after allegations he had an affair with Stormy Daniels.
Experts believe her decision to stay away from the public gaze was a deliberate one, according to Lauren Wright, a political scientist at Princeton University.
She told Mail Online: "Throughout Trump’s presidency, when the Stormy Daniels issue came up, Melania would assert her independence in one way or another, either avoiding the topic or, most famously, contradicting those who claimed to know her feelings about the alleged extramarital dalliance."
