Meghan stars as intern stacking boxes in new advert for coffee company Clevr

The Duchess of Sussex has featured as an intern in an online advert for a coffee company she invests in.

Meghan appeared in the Instagram ad for Clevr Blends, which sells ‘superfood’ lattes, by making hot drinks, stacking boxes, and working at a computer in the digital department.

The short clip ends with her attempting to fist-bump another member of the team as she walks off camera, but missing, leading to them laughing.

CEO and co-founder Hannah Mendoza walks around the company's HQ in the clip while Meghan works, thanking her team for their hard work.

Posting the clip, Clevr Blends said: “Damn, you’re keeping us BUSY right now! Had to call in some reinforcements.

“So grateful for the immense love and support this year—thanks for helping us keep the latte-loving dream alive, and thriving!xo”.

Meghan has invested in the company since 2020.

In an interview earlier this year, Ms Mendoza said she owed much of her success to Meghan, who used her royal connections to even send a case of the powered lattes to Oprah Winfrey.

“Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex had started drinking our lattes. Meghan ended up becoming our first investor, advisor and biggest Clevr advocate,” she said.

“She even sent our tumeric latte to friends and a few days later I open my phone to see Oprah herself making our Golden SuperLatte in her own kitchen - no big deal.”

She said the brand ended up selling out for two months as a result of Meghan’s promotion.

In a statement to Fortune confirming the investment in 2019, Meghan said: “This investment is in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritises building community alongside her business.

“I’m proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness.  I believe in her and I believe in her company.”

Meghan's backing of the brand marked her first public investment since she and Harry left royal life in 2020 to pursue a life outside the royal family.
