Meghan Markle has vowed to be “myself and talk and be unfiltered” in her long-awaited Archetypes podcast, which was released on Spotify on Tuesday.
In a promotional video shared on Twitter, the Duchess of Sussex, 41, said “people should expect the real me in this” rather than what they see through the lens of the media.
The guest on her first episode was close friend and tennis superstar Serena Williams, 40.
They discussed the double standard women face when they are labelled “ambitious” as well as the ripple effect this has on the rest of their lives.

Markle said: “I don’t remember ever personally feeling the negative connotation behind the word ambitious until I started dating my now husband.”
Williams also reveals that Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, helped her with her decision to retire from tennis long before it was announced, spending around an hour discussing the issue with her.
“He was trying to knock some sense into me,” Williams said.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion told Markle she wanted her to know what it meant to have “your support, and for H’s support, for everything because... it’s been hard”.
The Duke of Sussex also makes a brief appearance in the episode, complimenting Williams on her hair which he labels “a great vibe”.
The next Archetypes podcast - part of the Sussexes’ multi-million-pound deal with Spotify - will feature the mum-of-two in conversation with singer Mariah Carey.
