Meghan Markle 's popularity has plummeted since she and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals, but she is still considered to be above Prince Edward and Prince George, according to a new poll.
The survey asked 2,000 royal fans which members of the Royal Family they admired the most - and overall, Prince William and Kate topped the list.
King Charles III came third in the poll, followed by Princess Anne and Prince Harry. Sophie Wessex was sixth, followed by Camilla, Queen Consort.
The Duchess of Sussex was voted the 8th most admired member of the Royal Family, with Prince George in the 9th place and Prince Edward in the 10th spot.
People from different age groups, however, had contrasting ideas as those in the 18-24 age group said they admire Harry and Meghan the most.
Those aged 25-34 voted brothers William and Harry as their joint favourite, while people aged 35-44 said they admire the Prince of Wales and King Charles the most.
People in the 45-54 age group said they especially admire William and Kate, while Princess Anne and the Princess of Wales were voted the favourite by those aged 55-64.
Brits aged over 65 said Prince William is their favourite royal, according to a poll about the country's thoughts on the Royal Family carried out by The Sun.
Yesterday, Meghan's dad Thomas Markle said he hopes the amnesty between Harry and William for the Queen’s funeral could help to heal his own family rift.
Mr Markle was buoyed by seeing his son-in-law walking alongside his brother in a show of royal unity in the wake of their grandmother’s death.
The 78-year-old – who watched the televised service with his son Thomas Jr – has been unable to reach Meghan since a row over staged photos taken before her wedding to Harry in 2018.
Speaking about their dad, Thomas Jr – Meghan's half-brother – told the Sunday Mirror: "We both watched clips of the Queen's funeral together.
"I was overcome with emotion at how every person spectating was honoured to be there and respectful."
Addressing Meghan, he added: "Dad treated you like a princess your entire life and deserves the respect.
"I'd like to send this invitation for her to do the right thing and make amends with her father."
Harry and Meghan played prominent roles during the Queen's funeral.
The Queen's grandson walked in processions through both London and Windsor Castle behind her coffin, while Meghan also walked in processions through Westminster Abbey and St George's Chapel.
They returned to their home in California following the UK's 10-day period of mourning the death of the Queen.
