Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, marked her return to Instagram with an announcement on January 2: her new Netflix series is about to hit our screens.

It is called With Love, Meghan and the duchess shared a trailer to her new Instagram account, writing to her followers: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year!”

Here’s everything we know about the series before its premiere.

When is With Love, Meghan going to be released on Netflix?

The programme will be added to Netflix on Wednesday January 15.

In the trailer for the series, the duchess can be seen cooking, harvesting honey and entertaining her friends at home in Montecito, California.

In a press release, Netflix said the show “reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversations with friends, new and old”.

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests role up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”

The series has eight 33-minute episodes.

Who appears in the show?

Chef Roy Choi is one of the series’ special guests (Netflix)

In the trailer for the series, Meghan is shown hosting actress Mindy Kaling (The Office US, The Sex Lives of College Girls) at her home. Other guests include Korean-American chef Roy Choi and chef and restaurateur Alice Waters.

Price Harry briefly appears in the trailer for the show – a quick shot shows the couple embracing on a sunny patio as they enjoy a glass of champagne together.

Will Meghan talk about being in the royal family on the show?

From the trailer and Netflix release, there is no mention of Meghan’s status (or history) as a member of the royal family, so it appears that those looking for extra juicy details about life with them won’t have much luck.
