Meghan Markle's Coronation no-show was apparent hours before before the bombshell public announcement was officially made, fans have claimed.
After weeks of feverish speculation, Buckingham Palace revealed on Wednesday that Prince Harry would be attending his father's celebrations next month without wife Meghan.
However, hours before the news dropped, Meghan's close pal actor Tyler Perry uploaded a cryptic post that fans have claimed to be a dig at Meghan's estranged in-laws and a comment on how she's better off avoiding the royal drama.
Tyler, who starred in Diary of a Mad Black Woman, took to Instagram to share a quote with his 7.2million followers.
The plain text upload read: "It's not a bad thing to demand that everyone that comes into your life meet you at your worth. And I ain't talking money."
Many of his fans hailed his words, with actress Crystal Renee Haslett gushing: "This the ONE, T!!!"
However, others feel it's a brutal dig towards the royal family as he firmly establishes himself on 'team Meghan'.
Sharing the quote to Twitter, one user wrote: "Tyler Perry already knew when he posted this yesterday #WeLoveYouHarryandMeghan"
It was quickly liked and shared by thousands of others, with one fan replying: "I saw this yesterday and I was thinking he must know something."
Another added: "That's right! Meghan knows her worth," while a third simply said: "He knows."
Others joked that Tyler was odds-on to be attending Archie's birthday party on the same day.
Tyler has positioned himself as a key confidant of Markle's since her departure from the Royal Family.
Meghan and Harry stayed at Tyler's California mansion when they first fled the UK in 2020 after standing down from their positions in The Firm.
While in the couple's Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, Meghan recalled how she first became acquainted with the actor when he sent her a letter before her wedding to the Prince outlining his sympathy after her fallout with her father Thomas went public.
"He said he was praying for me, and if I ever need anything, he would be there," said Meghan.
Staying true to his word, Tyler offered up his home to Meghan and Harry when they expressed their need to escape the Prince's homeland.
"I could hear the fear, it was palpable. She was afraid of them destroying her," Perry said in the Netflix doc, adding: "I saw my mother being abused for years, I know the symptoms... This woman was abused, and so was [Harry]."
The discussion comes after it was announced Prince Harry would be making a fleeting visit to the UK by himself to attend the Coronation of his father, King Charles.
Buckingham Palace said in a statement it is pleased to announce that Harry will be there on May 6 for the historic event but revealed Meghan will stay in California with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
There had been immense speculation as to whether or not the pair would attend following the divide in the family after Harry's recent outbursts against the monarchy.
He hit out at several members of his family in his recent memoir, Spare, as well as in a number of TV interviews on both sides of the pond.
It's thought he won't be sticking around for long though and is set to miss a number of Coronation events, including a huge party with other royals.
According to insiders, Harry was cutely aware that the historic occasion will be "pretty much the most important day" of the King's life and knew he would always have regrets if he turned down the opportunity to be there.
But, while he is making an effort to attend the main event, Harry is likely to avoid important parts of the proceedings, including the Coronation Concert and Sunday's Coronation Big Lunch.
