Meghan Markle 's popularity was at its peak during her time on Suits.
Before marrying Prince Harry, the actress, 41, was a huge star on the legal drama as she impressed as Rachel Zane.
So much was the admiration for her at the time, she is said to have had "loads of fans" waiting to meet her after filming.
Dancing On Ice star Colin Grafton, 31, appeared on the show on a number of occasions in series six and revealed Meghan had a huge following.
He said: "I think she had just started dating Harry at the time, but she had a lot of fans already like outside that were waiting for her."
Revealing he didn't actually know who Meghan was at the time, Colin added: "I think that was the point she was dating Harry, but it wasn't public knowledge yet."
Colin admitted he landed his role by chance after bumping into Gabriel Macht, who played the lead character Harvey Specter, in the rest room.
After the pair discussed his skating career, he was then introduced to who he believes must have been the director.
Colin said he had initially only signed up to be an extra as he was on vacation and his pal was working on the set all day and confessed he had never actually watched the show.
Without prior knowledge of the show, he knew he would have a chance to impress if he wore a nice suit - and it was a plan that worked.
He described how the director saw him and said: "we need you front and centre in the scene!"
Describing the whirlwind of fortune, he continued: "But from a day of just joking around to being like in the in the main scenes with that. I think that was like season six or something. Not really acting but in the scenes!"
Meghan starred as Rachel Zane in the drama series, but things could've been so different after she previously confessed she nearly botched her audition for the part.
In an extremely honest post on her blog The Tig, the Duchess of Sussex admits she forgot her lines and ended up making a heartbroken call to her agent afterwards to tell her she wouldn't be getting the part.
Discussing her audition for the show which was originally called A Legal Mind, Meghan wrote: "I blew it.' That’s what I said to my agent after my audition for a pilot called A Legal Mind. 'I kept forgetting my lines, I was distracted, and I blew it. Which sucks because I really wanted this one. I really like Rachel.
"But I blew it. I wanted it, and I lost my shot at it. Or so I thought."
Thankfully for the star, she landed the role and was a huge success.
