Meghan Markle 'encourages' Harry to 'destroy' Royal Family, expert claims

Meghan Markle has "encouraged" Prince Harry to dismantle the Royal Family, an expert has claimed.

The bombshell allegation was made by royal author Tom Quinn during a new channel 5 documentary about the couple called Harry & Meghan: Is America Turning Against Them.

The short film explores the Sussexes' life in LA where they have close connections to other celebrities in California such as Oprah Winfrey and discusses whether or not Americans are tired of their dramas.

Harry and Meghan claim to have been followed by paparazzi in a dangerous car chase in New York last month following an awards ceremony, which is something the NYPD have disputed, the Scottish Daily Express reports.

The couple also recently became the butt of a joke in a South Park episode which mocked their claims about wanting to live a quiet life despite their continuous antics leading to media attention.

When asked about his opinion on their relationship in the documentary, Mr Quinn said: “The Royal Family will be deeply upset by the fact they have this loose cannon, someone William was [once] close to.

"The royals think Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, is out to 'destroy' the Firm.' [Harry] has married this woman who seems to be encouraging him to destroy the Royal Family.”

The expert who has written numerous books about the Royals added that he believes that the senior royals will never respond to the allegations that the Sussexes have made to damage their reputation and will instead always react with non-committal answers such as "recollections will vary."

Mr Quinn's comments were dubbed as "startling" by another monarchy expert Michael Cole who is a former BBC royal correspondent.

He told GB News: "Quinn made a rather startling assertion that Meghan Markle was encouraging her husband to destroy the British monarchy.

"Well if she succeeds in that she'll be rather more effective than George Washington and Paul Revere because they only managed to rid America of the British monarchy but they didn't actually destroy it.

"I don't know where Tom Quinn gets this information from but if it's true, it is rather remarkable. And of course, she may be taking on quite a lot.

"Because the British monarchy has lasted 1000 years and its been through many crises. The worst crisis of the 20th century was the abdication crisis of 1936.

"And of course, in the past the first King Charles lost his head and then we had 20 years of Oliver Cromwell, more or less a republic, a Commonwealth with the Protector."
