Meghan forgets song name for first dance with husband Harry in new Netflix trailer

Prince Harry and Meghan reminisce about their first dance and how much fun they had in a new trailer for part two of their controversial Netflix documentary.

In the first glimpse of volume two of Harry and Meghan the pair appear blissfully in love as they look back at their wedding day.

Viewers are treated to never-seen-before photos of the pair on the dance floor and sharing the evening with their guests.

As the pair talk to the camera, Meghan initially forgets the name of their first dance as the pair discuss the song they chose and the lyrics in the 38-second clip.

Meghan says: "I just really wanted the music to be fun", then asks Harry: "Even our first dance. Song of a thousand dances? I always get it wrong," before singing some of the lyrics like "Mashed potato, do the alligator".

Then the trailer blasts the first line of the tune - Land of a Thousands Dances, by Wilson Pickett - as it skips through lots of photos from the dance, including one of Meghan dancing with A-lister Elton John and another of suits actress Abigail Spencer.

"That was our first dance," Meghan adds. "It was so fun. Just spinning like a whirlwind it was so great."

The clip has been released amid the fallout over the first three episodes, which were released at 8am on Thursday morning.

The couple have received criticism over the series for apparently attacking British institutions as they discussed their experiences including racism.

On January 8 2020, the Sussexes revealed they intended to "step back as 'senior' members of the royal family and work to become financially independent".

On Thursday fans of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, praised the couple who they say are so clearly in love, after the first three episodes of their much-anticipated Netflix show landed.

They took to social media in their droves to gush over the behind-the-scenes footage of the couple's romance and never seen before photographs.

The documentary series, which will see three more episodes drop next Thursday, reveals the real love story of how the pair met and fell in love.

There are countless home videos of Archie and Lilibet out on walks with their proud parents, as well as a snap of Archie on his first birthday with proud grandma Doria Ragland.

There is another shot of Meghan carrying her baby as they talk about grandma Diana, while looking at a photo of the late Princess of Wales hanging on a wall.

King Charles could be set to "cut all ties" with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex following the airing of the docu-series.

Royal commentator Richard said the new King may even ban his son and daughter-in-law from his Coronation in May next year.

The couple's multimillion deal with Netflix sees the first set of three documentaries beamed into people's living rooms today.

And although the rest of the royal family are going about their daily visits today, the American-based couple's show is expected to go down badly with them.

Mr Fitzwilliam, speaking to the Sun, said the Royal Family will just carry on regardless with "business as usual" as they always do.

He said: "There is absolutely no doubt now that the Sussexes are claiming there was a war against them.

"We've got clear dynamite in there - it would be impossible to take that out of context.

"We haven't seen it, but it's so obvious. Christmas is bookended by what's probably attacks - it's grim.

"The question is, what can the royals do about it? Harry will always remain a prince.

"The only thing they can do is not invite them to the Coronation, and cut all ties - a clean cut from the Sussexes. Essentially, that's all they can do."
