Prince Harry and Meghan went on a holiday to Botswana after only meeting twice, a new Netflix documentary has revealed. The pair lived in a tent for five days during the romantic trip away.
Opening up in episode one of their new documentary Harry & Meghan, the pair said their trip was the first time they'd seen each other in a month. Harry handed Meghan a chicken sandwich, jumped in a Land Cruiser and off they went, the show revealed.
They sat together, progressed to holding hands and ‘squeezed in a kiss’ between the bumps. It was a chance for the pair to connect properly away from the limelight.

“We had to get to know each other before the rest of the world and before the media joined in", Meghan said.
“We could both be completely ourselves. There were no distractions, no cell phone signal, no mirrors, no ‘how do I look?’ Thankfully we really liked each other,” Meghan said.
The Duchess of Sussex later said the pair had a 'two week rule'. She would go and see him in the UK under-the-radar every couple of weeks. She would stay with Harry at Kensington Palace and they would get to know each other without anyone taking photographs and it becoming news, said Harry.
He added: “Getting her through the police barrier and onto Kensington palace is a risk in itself, right? Because it’s not about who you trust, it’s about who they trust. That’s literally how it works”.
The first three episodes of Harry & Meghan dropped on the streaming service at 8am on Thursday morning. A further three episodes will follow on December 15.
Harry & Meghan has been described by Netflix as an “unprecedented and in-depth documentary series" which will provide 'the other side' of their high-profile love story. It will also look at the early days of their relationship and the decision to ultimately step down as senior members of the Royal Family.
