Meghan and Kate's relationship was 'doomed' early on after 'designer fashion feud'

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton's relationship was said to be doomed from an early stage, over a fashion feud, it has been claimed.

Tensions between the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex began to bubble when Meghan found herself behind Kate in the queue for the latest outfits from a high end designer, writes The Mirror.

Reports suggest that when it was clear Kate's wardrobe was prioritised, things went south between the pair.

Meghan really loved garments made by British designer Erdem Moralıoğlu, but it has been claimed that her future sister-in-law, who was an existing customer, was given the first pick.

This is said to have upset the former Suits actress, who had worn his dresses to a number of engagements before joining The Firm.

New details of Meghan and Kate's relationship have been published in The Telegraph.

The publication states that Meghan did not publicly wear Erdem Moralıoğlu's outfits until 2019.

But Kate also adored the clothes from the British fashion giant (PA)

The fact that the garments were handed to Kate first is said to not have sat well with the Sussexes.

Meghan allegedly was so annoyed by it that she questioned why William's wife was given priority over her, reportedly saying Kate 'wasn't even Queen'.
