Meghan and Harry are planning to "divide and conquer" as they take separate career paths a PR expert has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex is allegedly planning his big return to Africa without his wife to film a solo documentary as part of the couple's $100m (£78m) deal with Netflix.
Meghan is also thought to be pursuing her own projects as she is reportedly gearing up for some lucrative commercial endorsements, the Mirror reports.
Brand expert Andy Barr has said the couple have discovered they can "earn more" by working on their own "passion projects".
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "The romantic in me says that this is the couple splitting their career path in order to fully commit to their own passion projects but the commercial cynic in me says that the power couple have realised that they can potentially earn more by dividing and conquering."
There has also been widespread speculation that Meghan will relaunch a new version of her lifestyle blog The Tig which could focus on her passions including fashion, food and wellness.
Andy, co-founder of 10 Yetis Digital, explained: "Re-launching her old blog would give her the perfect platform for maximising any endorsements that she may sign and also enables her to widen her commercial appeal across varying sectors and wider geographic territories.
"With Harry rumoured to be off to film a series in Africa, it would be no surprise to see Meghan Markle heading off to a region where their brand may have historically struggled to win over fans in order to reinforce their global appeal, and make them even more attractive to potential brands wishing to sign them up."
Meghan is also known to be a big supporter of feminism with the expert opining that this as well as some of other passions may influence her career choices.
He said: "I would expect the Meghan Markle team are looking for endorsements that resonate with her own passions and causes such as wellness and mental well-being alongside the most elite luxury brands.
"One thing is for sure, nothing they do is low-key or low-quality, so it is going to launch to huge fanfare."
