After the final three episodes of the controversial Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan dropped today, viewers were quick to take to social media and share their findings.
Amongst shocking behind-the-scenes moments of Meghan Markle in Kensington Palace, and the revelation of a bombshell argument between Prince Harry and Prince William, there was one final pièce de résistance that went viral online.
Netflix spectators were quick to highlight the song choice in the closing credits of the fourth episode of the series, recognising it as 'You Don't Own Me' by Lesley Gore.
One Twitter user pointed out: "The Meghan and Harry documentary is so symbolic! 'You don't own me' by Lesley Gore being the outro song of Episode 4 is SO powerful!"
Another said: "The Meghan and Harry documentary playing 'you don't own me' over the credits is pure camp - I'm a little bit obsessed."
A third wrote: "She's A Rainbow is going to be Meghan's theme song in my head from now on. That and You Don't Own Me."
Many fans of Harry and Meghan praised the outro and deemed the song a "perfect choice of music" and "poetic", while others found it to be a dig at the Royal Family.
"Meghan is so petty! She is playing 'you don't own me' by Leslie Gore," a viewer tweeted.
Some people were simply impressed by the production team, with one saying: "The fact that the fourth episode ends with 'you don't own me'. That's damn good editing."
Another person said: "Lesley Gore's song 'You Don't Own Me' playing over the credits of #HarryAndMeghanNetflix episode 4? Perfection."
While Harry and Meghan filmed themselves documenting their personal lives over a few years, the creative direction was down to filmmaker Liz Garbus and her husband, Dan Cogan, who run Story Syndicate.
Liz told the New York Times it was a collaborative effort and when asked whether the couple had final approval over the series, she responded: "It was a collaboration. You can keep asking me, but that's what I'll say."
Another moment that took viewers by surprise was when Harry claimed it was his decision to step back as a working royal - not Meghan's.
Many people have accused Meghan of wearing the trousers in the relationship, with Donald Trump claiming he was "whipped".
In the fifth episode, Harry says: "I've seen little cartoons of me on all fours and her holding a dog lead, and me wearing the dog collar. How predictable that you know the woman is to be blamed for the decision of a couple.
"In fact, it was my decision. She never asked to leave. I was the one that had to see it for myself. But it's misogyny at its best."
Meghan adds: "I mean, it took what felt like everything from me – your sense of self, your confidence.
"And the truth didn't matter, and the clickbait did."
