Megan Fox wants to clarify that she does not support Donald Trump — or any one politician, for that matter — despite having called the former U.S. president a “legend.”
Apparently, Fox’s words were taken out of context. While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actress recalled the extraordinary experience that was sharing a row with Trump at the star-studded UFC 264 match, acknowledging how much the audience seemed to love him.
”I was in a row with Bieber, and Trump was also in my row,” the Jennifer’s Body star said. “He had, like, thirty secret service with him.”

“He was a legend,” she observed of how he was perceived by the crowd. “That arena was very supportive of Trump when he came in.”
“I was like, I don’t know how I feel about it, because if someone is a target, then I’m like, I could be harmed because I’m adjacent to where he is,” Fox admitted of how she felt. “I was worried about my own safety, that’s all I was caring about. But yeah, I’ve never seen anything like that before. It was crazy.”

However, critics (and Trump devotees) have seemingly misconstrued what Fox said, as the actress felt compelled to clarify her statement: Fox does not, in fact, support Trump — or any political party.
“Uhmmm…I do not align myself with any political party or individual politicians,” Fox shared via Instagram story last night. “I never said Donald Trump is a legend. I said he was a legend... in that arena (key part of the sentence).”

“The arena was filled with UFC fight fans,” she explained. “Many of them clearly Republican based off the insane crowd reaction he received walking into the T-Mobile venue.”
“That was an observable fact. Not my opinion,” Fox reiterated.

“Really loving this uneducated, mid-evil [sic], pitch fork carrying, burn a witch at the stake mentality though,” Fox concluded — sarcastically, of course. “The world needs more of that.”
Fox topped off the statement with a purple heart and kissing lips. No hard feelings, we guess?
