Megan Fox criticises Brian Austin Green for sharing photo of their son on Instagram

Megan Fox has criticised her ex-husband Brian Austin Green for posting a photo of the couple’s four-year-old son to Instagram on Halloween.

Over the weekend, Green shared an Instagram photo showing himself and the couple’s youngest son Journey dressed up for the holiday with the caption: “Hope you all had a good Halloween!”

Shortly after sharing the photo, which has since been deleted and reposted without Journey, Fox expressed her disapproval in the comments, where she wrote: "Why does Journey have to be in this picture?

“It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in. I had a great Halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media,” Fox wrote, according to a screenshot shared by Commentsbycelebs. “I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture via social media.”

The Transformers actress then accused her ex of being “so intoxicated” with “feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.”

“You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human!” Fox continued. “Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"

Fox and Green, who married in 2010, share three sons, Journey, four, Bodhi, six, and Noah, eight. Green also has an 18-year-old son Kassius with ex Vanessa Marcil.

On Saturday, Fox, who has not shared a picture of her children on Instagram since October 2019, posted photos of herself and friends dressed up in Halloween costumes.

Following the actress’s comment, Marcil appeared to share her support for Fox on Instagram, where she wrote: “Like I said… The truth always comes out in the end…”

She captioned the post: “#Imwithyousister.”

Others, however, questioned why the former couple did not have the conversation in private, or whether it was necessary for Green to delete the photo featuring his son.

“Maybe she could have just called him instead of leaving a comment?” one person asked, while another wrote: “Nothing wrong with your first photo either. You’re just spreading love. Happy Halloween.”

In May, Green confirmed he and Fox, who has since begun dating Machine Gun Kelly, had separated on his podcast.

“We had an amazing relationship and I will always love her and I know she will always love me. And I know as far as a family, what we built is really cool. It’s really special," Green said at the time. "We decided ‘'Let’s make sure we don’t lose that.'"
